The Pricing Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate up-to-date product costing and pricing models and generating and communicating price calendars and cost files.  This position provides data entry, validation and reconciliation of pricing data for the Shared Services Pricing Team. The ideal candidate for this role should have intermediate excel experience.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Partner with our suppliers and retail customers to maintain accurate up-to-date costing/pricing
  • Generate and communicate price calendars/cost files
  • Reconcile cost, promotion, and depletion variances
  • Review existing and upcoming pricing and initiate updates
  • Item maintenance for new and existing products
  • Update pricing system
  • Address daily/weekly/monthly pricing inquiries and opportunities

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma Required

  • 1 year Finance or Accounting related experience

  • Intermediate MS Excel and information systems skills.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and accurate data entry.

  • The ability to effectively perform under a heavy-volume, time-constraints environment.

    This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Prefer experience in pricing analysis and pricing strategies

  • Distribution industry experience is a plus.
